Painting
name

I'm not usually hired only as a painter, so most of these are painting for my scenic designs, along with a couple grad school projects I'm still fond of. The exception is the ETC Headquarters, which was designed by a friend of mine (Paul Sannerud) and since I was in the area and it was a fun project I decided to work on it. Also, the lighting designer in me didn't mind working on the ETC project and meeting Fred Foster a bit.

Painting from In the Beginning
(My scenic design for
Roadside Theatre; Heidelberg, Germany;
December, 1999)
The primary design element was a book.  Each page served as a backdrop for the scene.
The overall concept from the director was that of a cartoon.
The musical is based on people on the fringe of Old Testament stories.

I know... grad school was a long time ago, but I still like these paintings. Though I admit, I'm no Vermeer.
